Tyreek Hill may not move the needle in the big world of T&F, but he was not at a "nothing" meet. It was the USATF Masters Indoor National meet, a meet that hundreds of athletes look forward to and train for every year. Find out about it, Kyle. Likely some of the biggest fans of the sport are among the ranks of competing masters athletes.

Agreed! Not a nothing to my friends & I who are masters and still competing! We run because we love the sport! We run & even PR!

The overall meet is of course important to those participating and I know my time will come when I will be lining up there too. But to win a 60m race by over half a second doesn't indicate that it was competitive for him and in terms of eyeballs there isn't a spectator draw at a Masters meet like there would be at Millrose.

This newsletter is one I look forward to, full of wit, information and insight. My only complaint was the characterization of the meet. Not sure if this was a publicity stunt by usatf or Hill, but letting a reader or two learn about the opportunities of masters t & f for anyone 25 and older, would be a great thing for the entire t&f world. Thanks.

Do you know what track and running in general. We need to get every coach in every sport to stop using running as punishment. Think about it.

I will never criticize you for being too positive.

Why no coverage of Nike Indoor Nationals? Clearly NB had the better overall talent but there were noteworthy efforts at NIN. As has often been commented on, why do we have so many national championships? Why not just one.
