FYI economic impact studies are basically all made up nonsense, especially when it comes to sport. You see them all the time when pro teams try and get cities to subsidize new stadiums. Basically, you hire a consulting firm, tell them what you want the study to say, and then lo and behold, it says that! Best not to put any stock in them. Media exposure value estimates are also pretty much junk.
